We have purchased 2 transmissions from cyclone one for my sons gmc truck and one for my 31 hot rod. The quality of the work is only secondary to the quality of the customer service. We live 700 miles away and would drive past every other shop to use them again!

Nothing but great stuff to say about these guys. I swapped a 5.3 into my 85 C10 and was looking for a good 4L60E for it. I found Cyclone and they have a great selection of parts and they sell complete units. I bought one of the F2 4L60Eβs and it was perfect for my build. Rich stands behind his business and products, hard to find people like that anymore. Will absolutely recommend them again and again.

Got a rebuilt trans for a customer. Trans was supposed to be upgraded to handle more power, and I assume it was, but I did not get any itemized parts list of what was used on the rebuild. The customer wanted that list. Also the trans had been filled with fluid, I assume for testing then partially drained for shipping, but the plug was left out of the oil pan and there was still oil in the trans. Trans was is a large bag in a cardboard box but it still was leaking everywhere when I picked it up from the shipper. I had to look around a few places to find a plug that was missing for the oil pan.

I bought a rebuilt 700R4 for my β89 K1500 Silverado. After doing an internet search and considering buying from the major βspeed shopβ catalog sellers I came across Cyclone transmissionsβ website. I liked what I was reading and liked the price plus I didnβt have to ship my old transmission back as a core. I was a little skeptical (Iβm in Wilmington NC and I couldnβt just drive by) so I called and talked to Rich about ordering from them, he was pleasant, informative and wasnβt pushy at all so I bought it. Installed it myself in the driveway about 2 months ago and couldnβt be happier. The motor has aluminum heads, cam, 4-barrel, headers etcβ¦ and the transmission is awesome. It came with rebuilt torque converter, new chrome pan, new detect cable and nice firm shifts. So great to drive around now especially since I donβt have to nurse a slipping transmission anymore.

We have worked with Rich & his team several times in the past for business (Harwood Motors) purposes and continue to confidently refer clients to Cyclone. However, we recently had a need of a more personal nature when we needed a Ford C6 rebuilt for the 1973 Lincoln Mark IV owned by my father and passed down to my brother... that was about to be used in a television shoot! We were up against the clock and CYCLONE TRANSMISSION SAVED THE DAY! More importantly, they gave us the peace of mind we needed knowing it would be right when we got it. There are tons of folks out there rebuilding parts and you don't know what you will get when it comes back to you for installation. With Rich at Cyclone, we know exactly what to expect and there are no surprises. Great communication. Fair prices. Professional and easy to work with. I can't recommend them highly enough.
